Утро началось с традиционного для Англии лязга, пришла утренняя почта. Тайка, только проснувшись, и в пижаме слетела с лестницы вниз и...Один из конвертов был лично для нее. Немедленно вскрыла конверт.

Письмо было с очень характерным гербом и написано зелеными чернилами.

Тайка уже готова была стремглав мчаться собираться в школу, но ей вручили подарок ко дню рождения и усадили завтракать.
После завтрака она побежала в свою комнату собираться в Хогвартс, но собраться не успела, под дверью ее ждало что-то странное. Это был свиток, весьма пострадавший в дороге, но запечатанный печатью Хогвартса. Тая немедленно вскрыла сургучную печать и стала быстро читать.

Dear Taya,
When I was sending you the invitation I couldn’t imagine that Hogwarts and the whole magical world would be in great danger!
I need your help, so you together with Evgeny should hurry up!
The followers of the Dark Lord after hiding for some time dared to turn the course of history, so they stole the Time-Turner from the Ministry of Magic and went to the Past.
If they succeed to stop Harry Potter from beating Lord Voldemort our world will be destroyed. And only you can stop them!
With the help of another Time-Turner you need to go back to the beginning of the whole story of Harry, and then everything will depend on you.

Тайка ужасно испугалась и вместе с тем обрадовалась, и немедленно побежала звать Женьку. Женька примчался быстро и они вдвоем стали быстро обыскивать тайкину комнату. Они довольно быстро нашли небольшую, обитую зеленым сукном коробку, перевязанную шпагатом и запечатанную сургучом. Внутри коробки лежали два билета на Хогвартс-Экспресс, маховик времени, чеки банка Гринготтс и записка следующего содержания...

My dear friends,

Итак, перед тем как бежать на платформу 9 ¾ пришлось вспоминать Книгу, и тут обнаружилась первая сложность. Оказалось, что у Рона было две палочки разной длины... Тая с Женей посовещались , и решили , что нужно взять среднее арифметическое от этих длин. Посчитав количество оборотов и прокрутив маховик времени, дети зажав билеты в руке, бросились на платформу. Они успели на поезд, и как только решили перевести дух и уселись на сиденье, как обнаружили еще один потрепанный свиток...

The enemies are all around. By Pr. Dumbledore’s order Hagrid was carrying the Philosopher’s Stone to Hogwarts, but the follower of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, Pr. Karkaroff captured him. Hagrid managed to hide the stone, before he was imprisoned on Karkaroff’s ship. You must find the Stone as soon as possible, and you also need to save Hagrid!
Please be very careful! He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named watches all the entrances in Hogwarts, so you must move noiselessly, and you won’t manage in ordinary shoes.
I bought you two pairs of magic shoes which are hidden in Hogwarts Express. You must find them and do not leave the train before you have them on your feet.

Вместо спокойной поездки до места назначения и поедания чудесных сэндвичей, которые они купили сразу же, потратив чек из Гринготтса, детям пришлось обыскать каждый миллиметр поезда, и всего лишь они смогли найти записку со странными буквами...

Никто их детей никак не мог догадаться, что бы это значило. Пришлось намекать, что это шифр. Они довольно быстро догадались, что это шрифт Цезаря, но все равно никак не могли расшифровать. Спас метод перебора и гугл. Получили слово WARDROBE и все-таки смогли найти волшебную обувь ( На самом деле искали они прекрасные теплые бесшумные тапочки, которые им прислали бабушка и дедушка. Собственно, все вещи, что они искали, это были подарки от друзей и родственников, итак, они нашли первый подарок и немедленно им воспользовались) . Рядом с обувью их , как они уже догадывались, ждал еще один свиток...

The way to Hogwarts is destroyed. So you must leave Hogwarts Express and make the new ways. You will find the material in the Express and to find out the direction, follow the bats. And remember to be quiet!

Вот тут Тайка и Женька совсем растерялись... Из чего делать рельсы, где брать шпалы, но их выручил маленький Петренок, который тоже оказался в Хорвартс-Экспрессе , этот маленький запасливый человек, прихватил свою деревянную железную дорогу, а Тайка смогла рассмотреть летучих мышей и работа закипела... Дорога плутала, но привела в Женькину комнату.
Задачи становились все сложнее и сложнее, игра стала напряженнее.
В Женькиной комнате их ждал еще один свиток с двумя листочками.

Увидев эту записку Тайка и Женька почти впали в отчаяние, и некоторое время даже не могли понять, где им искать ответ. Ответ прятался в первой записке. Раз это корабль, то должен быть язык кораблей, и уж тут было делом техники найти азбуку морских флагов и разгадать текст.
Долго и аккуратно записывали и получили вот такой текст.

Легче от этого не стало, но стало понятно что надо искать зелье.
Оглядев комнату дети видят томик Гарри Поттера, которого уж точно тут раньше не было. В книге вложена записка...
Hmm, Some student changed the recipe of the PolyJuice Potion in the Students book. Ironically the irrelevant ingredient can be found in the new sandwiches in Hogwarts Express, quite good by the way. Actually Muggles are not that bad cooks.
И вложен листочек с рецептом.

POLYJUICE POTION – RECIPE
Preparation
Independent of its actual brewing process, the Polyjuice Potion requires a good deal of preparation prior to making it. For example, the lacewing flies must be stewed for twenty-one days prior to making the potion, and only fluxweed picked at the full moon is acceptable. The total process takes approximately one month to complete.
Part 1, step one
1. Add 3 measures of fluxweed to the cauldron (must have been picked on a full moon).
2. Add 2 bundles of knotgrass to the cauldron.
3. Stir 3 times, clockwise.

4. Wave your wand then let potion brew for 80 minutes (for a Pewter Cauldron. A Brass Cauldron will only require 68, and a copper one only 60.)

Part 1, step two
1. Add 4 leeches to the cauldron.
2. Add 2 scoops of lacewing flies to the mortar, crush to a fine powder, then add 2 measures of the crushed lacewings to the cauldron.
3. Heat for 30 seconds on a low heat.
4. Wave your wand to complete this stage of the potion.

Part 2, step one
1. Add 3 measures of boomslang skin to the cauldron.
2. Add 1 measure of bicorn horn to the mortar, crush to a fine powder, then add one measure of the crushed horn to the cauldron.
3. Heat for 20 seconds at a high temperature.
4. Add 1 measure of salad leaves.
5. Wave your wand then let potion brew for 24 hours (for a Pewter Cauldron. A Brass Cauldron will only require 1224 minutes, and a copper one only 18 hours.)

Part 2, step two
1. Add 1 additional scoop of lacewings to the cauldron.
2. Stir 3 times, anti-clockwise.
3. Split potion into multiple doses, if desired, then add the pieces of the person you wish to become.
4. Wave your wand to complete the potion

Однако, дети читают и пока не догадываются, какой ингредиент нужно вычеркнуть и решают ничего не делать, а найти в комнате еще свитки и конечно находят...

Now you have the map of Hogwarts, put in the figures instead of letter and you will find the needed thing under the number which is the multiplication of the figures of three letters which are the same.

К этому свитку приложена карта нашего дома, с проставленными в некоторых местах номерами, номеров очень много, все проверить нереально, но найти надо. (Изначально задумывалось, что название потерянного ингридиента нужно будет найти на коробке с сэндвичем, но в процессе подготовки эта идея как-то забылась)
Становится ясно, что без названия неправильного ингредиента дальше двигаться некуда. Приходит идея найти в интернете правильный рецепт и сравнить с найденным. Снова помогает ноутбук. Ингредиент найден!

Тут снова приходится задуматься, три одинаковые буквы это понятно, а вот остальное. Читают еще раз внимательнее и догадываются, что нужно под каждой буквой поставить порядковый номер.
2*4*8 = 64
Достаточно легко дети соотносят карту с домом и находят коробку и очередной свиток.

В коробочке волшебная палочка! Тайка совершенно счастлива, и кажется решила, что главный подарок она получила и не спешит читать свиток. Но все-таки читает и обнаруживает, что приключение еще не окончено.

So now you have a magic wand looking like the one of Ginny Weasley, and Hagrid is saved. Now you need to find the Philosopher’s stone! He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named found out the secret place and hid it in a crossword which he sent to his followers. But I managed to intersept the document and now I send it to you. I hope you will manage!

Детей ждет кроссворд. Кажется они немножко устали, но с энтузиазмом беруться разгадать.

Часть ответов не могут угадать, ищут в интернете. В разгаданных клетках буквы, которые нужно сложить в слово и найти....Никак не могут угадать ответ на самый лаконичный вопрос " Mrs. Cat.", после подсказки догадываится и с трудом складывают слово "подоконник". Мчатся и находят самый главный подарок и свиток .

My dear Taya and Evgeny,
You honourably passed all the trials, saved Hagrid, got the magic shoes, built a new railways to Hogwarts and found the Philosopher Stone. I’m very proud of you both.

Самым главным подарком было посещение студии , где снимался фильм. Тайка была в восторге!
И от квеста, и от задачек , и от подарка!

(Примечание:)) Все свитки были состарены чаем, у некоторых углы были опалены на свечке, свитки запечатали сургучной печатью Хогвартса, также была нарисована табличка с платформой 9 и 3/4, куплены в магазине обои с изображением кирпичной стены, распечатаны чеки и билеты на Хогвартс-Экспресс. Все тексты дети получили на английском языке, что добавило сложности, есть и русская версия, могу выслать )
